You await the time the leaves will fall,

Marking the path with colour where they land.

Amidst the changing seasons, you feel small,

Wishing you could remain frozen in this dreamland.

Marking the path with colour where they land,

You welcome your flowers as they blossom into hope.

Wishing you could remain frozen in this dreamland,

When winter arrives, you wonder how you’ll cope.

You welcome your flowers as they blossom into hope —

The sun’s warmth beckons them to grow beyond their home.

When winter arrives, you wonder how they’ll cope.

For now, you let time fly as it allows your spirit to roam.

The sun’s warmth beckons them to grow beyond their home.

Amidst the changing seasons, you feel small.

For now, you let time fly as it allows your spirit to roam.

You await the time the leaves will fall.
